If you have NavStation sw. v. 5.3.x, please run the Troubleshooter in NavStation and send a screenshot of the result to technical@navtor.com.

If the NavStation sw v. is below 5.3.x, please try open the URL below from a web browser on the same PC where you have installed NavStation. This is to verify that your PC is able to connect to the required web service on the NavBox


http://XXXXXXXXX:8007/NavBoxServiceHosting/NavBox


(Replace XXXXXXXXX with the name of the PC where you have the NavBox software installed). If you have the hardware NavBox, you will see the hostname printed on the NavBox unit (e.g NavBox2367)


If the above check failed, please try to ping the NavBox from a command prompt window by following the steps below:

 

1. From the NavStation PC, click on Windows Key + R on the keyboard to bring up the "Run" dialog.

 

2. Enter "cmd.exe" in the "Run" dialog and click "OK"

 

3. In the Command Prompt window type (followed by enter):


ping XXXXXXXX


(Replace XXXXXXXXX with the name of the PC where you have the NavBox software installed). If you have the hardware NavBox, you will see the hostname printed on the NavBox unit (e.g NavBox2367)


4. In the Command Prompt window type (followed by enter):


ipconfig /all
